HIGH POWERED AERIAL DRONE LIGHTING
Our heavy lift Alta 8 Pro system enables us to carry a high powered LED array capable of putting out 130,000 Lumens, the brightness equivalent of a 13kW incandescent light. We’ve rigged the LED to allow complete independent control from the aircraft so that we have the ability to switch the light on and off, vary the intensity and rotate/tilt the lighting direction during flight. The gimbal operator is able to make precise adjustments to the lighting with an FPV camera that is attached to the front of the array which helps to ensure our subject is always accurately lit.
The drone light has a colour temperature of 5500K though we are able to add gels to achieve a different colour or temperature where required.
FPV DRONE LIGHTING
We’ve merged a stripped down 120W LED module with our FPV systems to provide the perfect tool for sending a beacon of light through tight spaces, narrow gaps and flying at high speeds offering unique shots to be captured from the air or ground. We love to hear the concepts directors and dp’s come up with using these custom lighting solutions. This single LED provides 14,000 lumens which is comparable in brightness to a 1000W Tungsten light.

Our drone operators are licensed & certified to operate drones in the national airspace. FAA Part 107 allows for some expanded operations based on a Waiver of some provisions such as Certificate Waivers for Night Flights, Over People, Above 400ft and other specific types. We now have been granted Waivers for all Night Flights.
